Owner and father

Meet F. Darren Newcomb, the heart and soul of Elite Entrance Gates and Fabrication. With an impressive 45 years in welding, fabrication, and excavation, Darren began his journey at 13 years old, working under his uncle's guidance in the family business. His early start ignited a passion for metalworking that grew stronger over the decades.

Darren's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish several successful excavation companies, including ventures in the Sierras, California, New Meadows, Idaho, and Blanchard, Idaho, with C&D Dirt Works being the most recent. His extensive experience ensures that Elite Entrance Gates and Fabrication is equipped to handle a wide range of projects with precision and expertise.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Darren is a devoted family man. He has been married to Lorie for 34 years and is blessed with two children and nine soon to be 10 grandchildren, fostering a legacy of family values and dedication. Darrens calling is being the full time pastor of a small church in Athol, ID. His vocational work includes welding and excavation.

Thomas Newcomb

Foreman and Son

At 29 years old, Thomas Newcomb brings youthful energy and fresh ideas to Elite Entrance Gates and Fabrication. Married to his wife Holly for 11 years, Thomas is the proud father of three boys aged 10, 8, and 6. His journey in welding and fabrication began professionally at 16, accumulating 13 years of specialized experience in the field.

Thomas excels in designing and building custom products with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every project meets and exceeds client expectations. His hands-on experience in excavation, starting at age 15 alongside his father, complements his fabrication skills, allowing him to oversee comprehensive projects from start to finish.

Committed to nurturing the next generation, Thomas trains his sons to become skilled welders. He aims to involve them in the family business and continue the legacy of craftsmanship and dedication. When he's not working, Thomas enjoys spending time in God's country with his family, reflecting the company's strong emphasis on family values and community.
